The Quill opened in charming downtown Pacific grove on February 15, 1996. The store was originally located on Grand Avenue and moved to our historic Victorian building in 2013. Our single location is home to The Gift Store and The Invitation Studio.

The Gift Store is home to an inspiring array of greeting cards, stylish boxed stationery, unique gift items, brilliant books, and a rainbow of gift wrappings. Our friendly staff is ready to help you select the perfect gift or just let you browse to your heart's content.

The Invitation Studio is the destination for creative party invitations, custom stationery, holiday cards and personalized gifts. We also carry packs of paper, and envelopes to help spark your own creativity. Owner and Invitation Designer, Stephanie Loftus, has 15 years experience in the stationery industry and is an expert in etiquette, wording, and current design trends. Stephanie was chosen as a member of the Gift + Stationery 40 under 40 Class of 2019 from Stationery Trends magazine for her commitment to elevating the art of stationery and invitations.
